Welcome to Southern Cute Designs! We specialize in hand lettered and painted wood signs! My signs are completely hand lettered and painted by me. No vinyl letters are used. All signs are made to order and photos are an example. Your sign will look as close to the picture as possible. There will be slight variations in each sign made. We have personalized signs, holiday decor, and traditional home decor. Take a look at my shop items or send me your custom requests, and I will be happy to create something just for you!
Returns and exchanges
👉It is extremely important to me that my customers are 100% happy with the finished product!! Please contact me within 48 hours of receiving your package if you are not satisfied.
You can return an item, by messaging me and requesting a return. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless a mistake is made on my part! Part of the shipping cost is to purchase insurance on your packages when shipping. If an item is damaged during transit, please notify me within 24 hours of receiving the package and I will help you with the claims process with the carrier. Unfortunately, I can't control what happens after it leaves my hands. I am not responsible for damaged items.
👉I will work with you to replace the sign if damaged during transit. You will need to keep ALL packaging materials associated with the damaged product. If you do not provide photos and keep all the packaging materials, a claim cannot be made, so I will be unable to refund/replace the sign. USPS may ask for you to take the sign in for inspection, therefore, it is imperative you do this for a refund/replacement.
I will only issue cancellations within the first 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, supplies have been purchased and cancellations can not be accommodated.
If a mistake is made and Southern Cute Designs is at fault, (such as spelling errors or paint colors) we will fix the mistake at our cost. Please notify us within 24 hours of receiving the item of the mistake. You may be asked to return the original sign back. I will provide a return shipping label and It must be sent back within (7) days. Please double check the names/information sent to me for custom orders. I can't issue refunds when a mistake is made by the paying party.
NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS ON CUSTOM ORDERS!
Please read production times carefully, returns cannot be given for failing to notice shipping time for time sensitive items.

All requests must be made before you purchase thru conversation or by selecting options from the drop down menu when you purchase. We begin work on your piece after purchase and changes cannot be made after work is in progress!

Unfortunately, I am only able to guarantee your ship date, not your delivery date. I am not responsible for mistakes made by a third party (USPS).

Additional policies and FAQs
Each one of my signs are made of quality wood by local lumber suppliers and is hand lettered and hand painted. No two pieces are exactly alike. I make no attempt to remove the cracks or wear on the wood. Your sign will likely have knots, cracks, dents, dings, and unique texture. These are all things that make handmade items unique and items cannot be returned for these things. Each sign is rustic and will NOT look like a new piece of wood. I do sand each piece to remove splinters and rough edges. I make no attempt to make this wood look new. My signs are rustic, so please keep that in mind when ordering,
